It’s good to see that there are healthcare management consultants that are looking to the future. Far too many people are working on a reactive basis only, when large problems could be avoided all together by working the be proactive about things that are coming.

You are correct, but if the signature of the PA or CRNP are not available due to a non-amicable split between the supervising/collaboration physician and the mid-level, the medical/osteopathic/nursing board will remove the “relationship” from their records with a properly documented explanation.

I would like to comment on the termination of the Supervisory Agreement and the Collaborating Agreement. To terminate the Supervisory Agreement, a signature of the PA and physician are required and only the CRNP’s signature is required to terminate a Collaborating Agreement. A physician cannot terminate either of these agreements on his/her own.
